This painting has brightened up the January blues with is fresh feel against the whitewashed wood. 

Memories of summers in Spain……, the scent of fresh lemons, whitewashed homes, walls, fences and even tree trunks!  The hot baking sun bouncing off the white walls and the cast shadows created have all contributed to the inspiration behind this painting. 

I selected an upcycled wooden panel with all its imperfections to give it the authentic look I was after and am in love with it 🫢
