Originally a photograph, generously granted by @atmospherics for me to use as inspiration for this painting, is a surreal scene indeed. I love this "moodscape" in cool colors... The painting started with an under layer in neon green, then lettering in HELLO was added and painted over. As the viewer walks by, and as the light shines on the almost imperceptible height of the letters, "HELLO" may or may not reveal itself to you. It is a private dialog between viewer and painting.
