This is a beautiful state park in the middle of Oregon. I'm using Georgia O'Keefe's advice: S.E.E. = Simplify, Eliminate, Emphasize. I did a series of pencil sketches and one watercolor before I got to this level of simplification. Georgia O'Keefe says, if you're thinking of adding something, take something out instead and you'll quickly discover that that was the right move. In art and design, simpler is almost always more powerful.
