As a young child I created art with any medium available.
In early 20s my painting journey began. I first experimented with Acrylics where I explored vibrant expressions of color and form. After dedicating two decades to raising my children as a single mother, I returned to my creative practice with greater perspective. In recent years I have transitioned to oil painting and gouache, which has allowed me to capture the depth and nuance of my subjects as well as expand in technique.
My work is a celebration of life’s beauty, inspired by the resilience and growth I’ve experienced, it reflects my commitment to translating my view of this world's beautiful yet fleeting moments into ever lasting visual narratives.
My recent focus on plein air painting has been both a challenge and a revelation, as it demands an intimate connection with the natural world and an immediate response to its ever-changing light and atmosphere.
Each painting, whether executed en plein air or in the studio, is an invitation to pause and appreciate the intricate beauty of our surroundings. Through my art, I aim to evoke a sense of peace and connection, sharing my evolving journey with collectors and fellow artists alike.
