I began drawing when I was eight years old. I started painting with pastels in 1994 and became a Pastel Society of America Signature Member. After a number of years oils became my medium of choice. My favorite subjects are people and animals although I like to paint many subjects. Light is what attracts me to a subject. Good lighting and composition make almost any subject beautiful. I believe that I am merely a recorder of the beauty that God, the ultimate artist, has created.
