Kellie Pederson is an oil painter based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she has lived her entire life.

While Kellie has found inspiration in her travels across the United States, she draws just as much—if not more—from the beauty and charm of her hometown. Growing up in a family of artists and creators fostered her early appreciation for art, but it wasn’t until she entered her first exhibition in 2016—and sold her first painting—that her passion for painting truly took hold. Since then, she has participated in many exhibitions and continues to grow in her craft. In 2023, she was honored to receive second place at The Demuth Foundation’s 61st Annual Community Art Exhibit.

Kellie enjoys painting still lifes, Lancaster city architecture, and scenes inspired by her travels, working from a rich personal archive of reference photographs she’s taken over the years.

In her words: “All the world is a painting to me, every photo I take is with this in mind. I daydream in brush strokes as I observe my surroundings."
