I’ve known since I was five years old that I was an artist, but for years I focused on graphic design, worried I might starve as a painter. In the summer of 2010, my husband, Dave, and I set out on a 4,000-mile, six-week adventure in our little pop-up camper. That trip became the start of my journey as a painter and the beginning of my blog, www.headondownthehighway.blogspot.com. Since then, I’ve painted and posted whenever I could while working full-time. Now that I’m fully retired, I’m thrilled to be returning to my first love—painting!
