This still life was painted from life during a short stay at Ratko Art Residences in the mountains of Montenegro. I was inspired by the ripe white grapes with their subtle color variations and the way they naturally rested on an old wooden surface against the soft landscape near Lake Skadar. The work combines traditional oil painting techniques with a contemporary approach to light, color, and atmosphere. My focus was on quiet observation, materiality, and inner balance rather than narrative detail. The original painting is sold unframed.
