Media: Mixed Oil and coloured pencils on mdf board
Size: 12x11.5 in
I simply love faces! I could sit and sketch commuters on a train non stop for an hour. There's always something unique about every face. Seen from a small picture in a magazine, I decided to enhance the structure and add a bit of exaggerated features and lines with oils and coloured pencils. The work is titled "conflict" as humans, we are constantly facing diverse issues where we are so caught up in what we actually need to do. A war goes on on the inside and on the outside it gradually begins to show. This face here, represents the early stages of conflict. I simply love faces!
