It was a gloomy autumn day when I placed a peeled orange on the windowsill for this still life. Just as I picked up my paints, the sun suddenly appeared for a moment, filling the room with warm light. The rays illuminated the orange and seemed to blend with its natural glow, creating a beautiful contrast of soft shadows and vibrant citrus colors.
