On a recent trip to London with my family we visited the Tower of London. Ravens have made the Tower their home for centuries. The legend is if they ever leave the Tower will crumble and the kingdom will fall. I tried to make friends with this guy, aware that I needed to keep a safe distance because they will bite! This is a charcoal drawing that I did as a preliminary sketch for an oil painting I am working on.
