I traveled to Puerto Rico a few times in 2015. On my second visit, I stayed in lovely Isabela on the northwest coast, in a little seaside resort right on the beach. (It was glorious to fall asleep to the sound of the pounding waves...) All the cabanas were painted bright, Caribbean colors which made for dramatic shadow play at certain times of the day.
