Media: Oil on loose canvas
Size: 10x8 in
Some of my paintings are done on loose (unstretched) canvas, and this is one of them. A common question I hear is: How can they be framed? The answer is simple! For a canvas of this size, there's no need to stretch it or glue it to a board. You can place it directly into any frame with a backing (like a photo frame). Just remove the glass--oil paintings don't need it--insert the canvas sheet, and it's ready to hang.
If you prefer, you can also mat the painting, just as you would a watercolor. In that case, however, you'll need to keep the glass in place to protect the mat.
And if you'd like, I can mount the canvas onto a panel for you. This process takes a couple of days to allow the adhesive to dry.
