"Summers Twilight" This small pastel painting was created as a live demonstration for my Monday night class. Using bold strokes and vibrant color contrasts, the piece highlights the richness of sunflowers against a textured background. Demonstration paintings allow students to see techniques in action—layering, blending, and capturing light—all essential skills for working in pastels. Painting is 8" x 6" on archival paper.
