For the last reference in our Daily(ish) painting challenge this week I wanted to push myself. We got these lanterns for a neighborhood party we host each year and I thought it would be a fun addition to try in a still life. Something I've never done before! I was nervous all week, but I really do think the accountability of the daily challenge really helped prepare me to take on this still life. I love how it turned out and am definitely going to try more glowing things in the future. *frame not included.
