I was channeling Caravaggio for his lighting and Vermeer for his, I don't know, Dutch-ness? I painted this on an old piece of black paper to help along the chiaroscuro effect. It was not going well so I sprayed it with fixative which ruined the first attempt but left a faint drawing to go by.
