This is from a photo I took on the south side of Lake Hiawatha, where artist Sean Connaughty regularly works to restore the native plants to create a more natural and healthy Lake Hiawatha- I volunteered on his crew a few times this summer to help with gardening tasks, something that's a little outside my comfort zone. You should walk over there and check it out! He's usually there on Saturday mornings! This is another one painted on a canvas prepped by my mentor and friend Liz Sivertson!
