I spent a lot of time in Trafalgar Square recently as a result of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters plein air open competition. There were several days when the winter sun was picking out St Martin of n the Fields and the National Gallery beautifully. This was one of those days. The crowds attending the market gave the scene a good bit of movement.
