This painting was done while participating in The Find Your Joy workshop with Louise Fletcher. Trying to loosen and simplify making more gestural marks. I was happy with the result. I always love watching the sea birds whenever I go to the beach. This is pastel on mixed media paper with a layer of gesso on it. The pastels behaved nicely!! I enjoyed creating this rascally group of Terns. Hope you enjoy them as well.
