I’ve been using oil paint bars to create an impasto, and textured finish on these little Haystack Rock paintings. I love the look and feel of working with this medium! Although they are quite messy to work with (using rubber gloves helps), I find that it grants me the freedom to work in a more spontaneous manner. Yeah, for spontaneity!
