This painting was inspired by a call for entry in the 60th anniversary of the Oakville Art Society in collaboration with the Oakville Museum. As we celebrate our "Connection" to our past. Here I have imagined Juliet (grand daughter of Oakville founder William Chisholm) waiting for the Ship "The Seagull". The location is of the lighthouse is still the same with some updates.
