I started doing small fat watercolor birds a few years ago while developing my style with small works. In the process, my ability to capture a subject in an emotive, story-telling way through color and the movement of the paint. These little fatty birds also depict abundance. If God takes care of the birds, how much more will he care for us?
I continue to do birds because they are some of my most popular work and because they are an ever challenging subject matter.
