I spent a sunny day roaming the Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. One of the buildings is so interesting and I tried to capture both the building and the interesting species of cactus the Cordona from Mexico. Similar to the Saguaros but not as tall and multi trunked. They were very popular with the other visitors as well as I stood painting and listening to conversations around me. This is a 9x12 study.
