I continue my fascinating study of horses in this new series of paintings. I absolutely loved working on this pose that is both relaxed and visually interesting thanks to the many anatomical curves and twists. I painted this horse over an older cat painting and sadly the “whiskers” that I had scratched are still showing through the new paint. By the time I realized it, I was already too far long into the painting and was happy with the way it was turning out, so I just decided to go till the end 🤗 I continue my fascinating study of horses in this new series of paintings.
