This is an etching of the fountain in the old village of Menton. We used to go there every winter, to escape the cold for a bit. The old villages in the Provence have a wealth of beautiful things, fountains, houses and whatnot. So much charm, ah "the Midi" once it seduces you, it never lets you go. My best friend moved to Aix en Provence and I should take my camera and pen and paper there to do some research into "old stones". This is an etching of the fountain in the old village of Menton.
