Media: oil on gessoed masonite
Size: 12.5x15 cm
These strand cabins brings me back to my youth. We used to go to the seaside with our grandparents every year. And every year we found these coloured strand cabins again, used to change clothes. Now don't tell me painting is not a physical job! I have been sanding, than gesso-ing and the re-sanding masonite for 2 days to prep the new boards to paint on. And now, since i had to do it inside because of the bad weather, will have to clean my studio. These strand cabins brings me back to my youth.
