Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$130 for FRAMED piece. There's a dock that's kind of hidden away in Juniper Point, Maine. There are always an assortment of boats tied up there. I've been meaning to do an encaustic of them for years. Finally did!This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
