Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$175 for FRAMED piece. Tybee Beach is on a barrier island near Savannah, Georgia. On the day that I visited the beach, the overcast sky created wonderful shadows in the surf, of the swimmers. I loved this woman's red bathing suit and the way it reflected in the water as her daughter approached her.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
