Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

A beautiful sunrise in Provincetown, Massachusetts. This is the second piece I've created using the same toner transfer with a different palette. It compliments "Provincetown Sunset".This piece incorporates a toner transfer and a bit of pen & ink.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
