I've never been especially close to crows--no peanut offerings, no shiny trinkets in return. So it surprised me when, while watching a rose bush for pollinators, one crow hopped toward me, met my gaze, and retreated. Moments later, it reappeared... then vanished again. On the third approach, I followed it into an opening in the dense trees and found a small murder of crows weaving through the branches--up, down, back, and forth--as if writing music in the air. At one moment, three perched together, and I thought of the Three of Cups in Tarot: the joy of connection, the warmth of shared presence. I felt honored to be invited in to witness this delight!
When you meet this scene, what rises in you beyond my words, beyond any assigned meaning?
