I stopped beside this country road to take a picture of the shadows the Monterey Cypress tree made as it fell across the road. The shadows were lovely and as I looked at the scene I noticed a bicycle rider way back on the road - as he came closer I took this photograph with the cyclist just emerging from the shadows. This is an original oil painting, painted by me, DJ Lanzendorfer, 12" x 16", oil on linen, It is unframed, with free shipping included.
