WOMAN IN A STRAW HAT This woman has such a nice face. I thought about painting her for a long time. She was busy working and there was a lot of other items in the slide I used as my resource. But, in the end it was the kindness and nice smile in her face I wanted to paint. I hope I have captured that. This is an original oil painting, painted by me, DJ Lanzendorfer. It is oil on linen, 14” x 18”, and is unframed with FREE SHIPPING. It will fit a ready made frame. The reference for this painting was a family photo (slide) taken in the late 1940's - 1950's by Dr. Frank Metzgar. I am painting a series of indigenous people of both Mexico and the American Southwest from this vintage resource.
