2-14-21warm-up
Day 14 in the #28FebruaryFlowers challenge. The prompt today is Frame. This was a hard one for me to figure out but I like the final result. At one point I scrubbed it with a damp cloth, and that mellowed the colors and made the black gesso bleed a bit. Huge improvement! Sometimes taking out your frustrations on a painting improves it. :D

I like to do small warm-up paintings and drawings before a painting session. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive in to my day in the studio. This 7x5 painting is painted on a wood panel and ready to hang. The sides are painted black.
