I grew up going to a little country church just like this one! There's nothing I enjoyed more as a child that the yearly Christmas Eve service there! I did this painting in thick oil paint on a 16x20 masonite board. I like using thick oil paint as it gives paintings a luscious texture that can’t be replicated in a print. This painting is unframed but could easily be framed by placing it in a standard photo frame with the glass removed as shown in the second photo.
