This painting is from a photo that I took on the way to Harker"s Island NC. Such a beautiful drive of water and marsh views and leftover dock pilings from storms past! This is a poured watercolor painting. Pouring watercolors is a process of defining the values (from light to dark) with masking fluid. In between the stages of defining the values I pour the primary colors which allows the colors to mix on the watercolor paper. At the end, there is a little more defining edges, etc with regular watercolor! Thanks for taking a look
