Took this picture last fall, traveling 70 east towards Havelock and Morehead City NC. In this location the trees were absolutely brilliant with their reds, oranges and pinks. Even more striking was the contrast with the tall weeds and their variety of beige colors. I was amazed that the grasses in the ditch were still colorful! It was fun to paint! Thank you for taking a look!
