This was begun on location with my plein air group (Coastal Carolina Plein Air Painters). Slocum Creek is a little creek off from the Neuse river in Havelock, NC. I love all of the litle water byways in this part of eastern NC.! The water was very still this morning and I was able to see and capture reflections. I finished up the painting in my studio.
