Due to the most recent hurricane(Huricane Florence, (September 2018) on NC coast and also due to extensive damage to our home in New Bern NC, we have been staying at a beach rental on Emerald Isle, NC. As stated to my latest posting last week, I love walking the beach and collecting shells. They are such beautiful and intricate elements of nature. I collected these shells from the beach . I then placed them in an intresting bowl with an interesting shape. I have switched from acrylic paint to watercolor for a while and for this painting I used the technique of "pouring watercolors". This is a fascinating watercolor process. Thanks for taking a look at this painting!
