This was my submission to the 2017 New Bern, North Carolina's annual Mum Fest painting competition!
I did not win this years competition but thoroughly enjoyed painting this (however, I did win the previous year!!) This is a painting of my favorite nursery "Pinecone Perennials". Every year they had a wonderful display and colorfully arranged mums. I tried to express what a happy place it was! Sadly they closed down at the end of 2016. I painted this from some photos I took that same year! Thanks for taking a look!
