November is the start of the clementina and orange season and I’m always drawn to the rich hues of the oranges contrasting beautifully against our blue skies nestled among lush green leaves and the soft pink blossoms. I always paint and eat seasonal fruit and am currently binging on these! For this recent work I have introduced a beautiful bee hard at work collecting nectar from the orange tree blossom capturing their delicate floral essence and sunny zest which results in Orange Blossom Honey. It is one of my favourite types of honey marked by its refreshing sweetness and subtle citrus undertones. Its rich yet delicate flavour and light floral aroma has the power to transport you to a blossoming orchard with one spoonful 😋🍯 ….. hopefully this painting does too ! This piece embodies the beauty of a sunlit orchard, making it a charming addition to any space, inviting warmth and a touch of nature into your home. It celebrates the importance of our Honey Bees vital role as pollinators for approximately one-third of the food we eat, including many fruits, vegetables, and nuts. A companion piece to Lemon Tree Blossom (original sold) but these two would work as a great pair of prints. DM for details.
