The sunset along our local beach is often other-worldly. At sunrise and set, the speed of our revolving planet is best seen. Light flings itself up at a higher and higher angle as the Earth turns away from the sun and into night. The water and motes of dust in the air each reflect the light and turn the sky into a symphony of color. Timeless, it reminds me that I am just a small mote myself, hoping to reflect a little light as the seasons advance and change.
