We were waiting for the fireworks to begin. And as the sky grew dark, the reflected lights across the water offered a wonderful preview. There is something about light reflecting on water dark that feels magical. We sat on the cooling sand, talking in the dark as we all faced the same direction, filled with anticipation and appreciation for the light to come and the light that already was.
