One of the advantages of a painting group, is that you sometimes gain access to a place normally not open to the public. This garden is in Bridgehampton, and I could have painted for a month without running out of vistas, ponds and banks of flowers to use as subjects. I'm grateful to the owners for letting us take a peek. These caught my eye, partly because my own hydrangeas have become deer food. Next year I hope for some blooms, because the plant have moved to our backyard. In the meanwhile, I'll enjoy the beauty of others' plants, like these.
