Living near the ocean means getting to see the sea and the beach in all weather. This winter we had snow on the local beach for a few days. It was beautiful. I loved how the dark distant storm was just moving away, leaving winter light to wash down on the snowy beach near me. The dark clouds juxtaposed with the glimmering water made for a wonderful contrast of light and dark, calm and turbulent.
